Spanish thyme (or Mexican mint) is a fleshy herbaceous plant with an unique smell. When you touch its leaf, you can immediately smell a strong and fresh scent which instantly heals your tired mind and body lingering in your hands. Because of its strong vitality, it will grow in a short time when you cut a stem off any part of the plant and bury it in the soil.
Spanish thyme has many uses in our daily life and you may easily find a wealth of information about it in the Internet. We in Clear Sky have started to grow this plant in our rooftop garden 2 years ago and have actually used it in our soap making then. Many positive feedback has been received regarding our Patchouli Marseille soap (The soap is named after the Patchouli essential oil added in it).
Spanish thyme grows slowly during the winter and therefore the supply during winters or springs may be limited.
